Avoid wasting your money on other costly RC boats. This one is worthwhile.

This boat is fantastic, especially considering the price.

Faulty battery compartment

A highly enjoyable toy that provided my son and me with two days of pool-driven fun. Regrettably, it began emitting beeps when we discovered a broken plastic tab in the battery compartment, causing the battery to dislodge. A sturdier design for securing the battery in place would have been appreciated.

It's great, but you definitely need the spare battery

The boat includes a spare battery, a positive feature given its necessity. The specified battery life is 12 minutes, but if the speed is maxed out, it significantly reduces. Unfortunately, we discovered this too late, as even with the spare battery, the primary battery died abruptly without sufficient warning, leaving the boat stranded in the water. Retrieving it became impossible, turning an otherwise enjoyable day into a disappointment. Having a longer-lasting battery or a charge indicator would be beneficial. While it may be a reasonable deal for the price, the risk of being stranded might necessitate purchasing another.

A 6-year-old with experience in RC control is able to operate it.

I purchased this for my grandson, who has experience with RC cars and trucks. He was able to operate it with some practice, considering that boats steer a bit differently from cars and trucks.
