Was enjoyable for 10 minutes.

The boat performed really well, responding well to controller input and providing a lot of fun. But the boat dove and never came back up.

Weak structure securing the battery in place

On my son's first attempt at driving the boat, it collided with the side of our pool, resulting in an immediate malfunction. The design flaw lies in the battery holder, specifically a fragile plastic retaining wall in front of the battery. The impact caused the battery to shift forward, breaking the small retaining tab and disconnecting the battery. It would be more practical if the battery faced the other way, ensuring that an impact pushes the battery against the plug. To address this, I applied glue to create a brace, securing the battery in place. This modification has allowed my son to enjoy hours of uninterrupted play.

Sturdy and speedy!

I purchased this for my grandson in South Carolina as a Christmas gift. Since I live in a different state, it was sent directly to their house. They reside next to a river channel, and although he already had a remote boat, he desired a faster one. This purchase did not disappoint! He loves it. My son mentioned that it is well-made, and now he plans to get one so he and our grandson can compete with each other.

Doesn't even power on

My child was eagerly anticipating the inaugural use of his boat today, only to encounter difficulties in getting it to power up. Quite disheartening...
