Join us as we say hello to an active month this September!

Obstacle Courses
Obstacle Courses

If you’re looking for a fun challenge this September, you can set up an obstacle course! The best thing about obstacle courses is that they are flexible enough to suit your family’s skill level. As your family starts to dash, leap, climb and even crawl through each obstacle, they’ll be engaging in a full body workout that also lets them add some friendly competition. If you’ve never made an obstacle course, or if you’re looking for hurdles to add, check this helpful article by the Imagination Soup. Note that obstacle courses are typically done outdoors, but that doesn’t mean you can’t create your own indoor course!

Dancing
Dancing

Did you know that dancing also works as a great workout? For pros, it’s an excellent source of cardio and a great way to improve your balance. Plus, it’s also something you and your kids can do at any time of the day! Dancing also lets your kids express themselves through motion, meaning that, unless you’re imitating a dance, you can all dance however you like. So dance till you can't dance no more, and if you want to make it more fun, ask your kids for songs or dance suggestions they’d like to try!

Aerobics

To keep your family’s hearts in tip top shape, you’ll need to add some aerobics! So run, dash, jump, chase, bike, and even swim to your family’s content. Not only are aerobics excellent for getting the blood pumping, but they also help your kids improve their physical endurance, boost their metabolism, and improve their posture and balance. Just like with dancing, aerobic exercises are very varied, so you can always ask your kids which ones they’d like to try.

Sports

If you have sport enthusiasts in your family, you should add their favorite sports to your workout! Sports are jam-packed with ways for your kids to improve their physical fitness, while also providing ways for them to hone different athletic skills. Whether they’re perfecting their dribbling in basketball or mastering the pitch, they’ll improve their skills as they keep playing.

Also, if you’re also looking for some fast-racing toys to pass the time post-game, you can always count on our best RC cars, like the Tornado LED, the Zero G Climber, and our all-new Disco Whirler.
